Delivery revenue calculator for restaurants
Your three-year
projection
Three questions. Your region, your submarket, and what you run.
What shapes the projection
Your submarket
Delivery volume is not spread evenly across the country. The same menu at the same prices does very different numbers in a dense metro than it does in a small town, so the submarket moves the projection more than anything else on the form.
What you run
Pizza and delivery only kitchens were built for the platforms and already carry the volume. A full service dining room has further to travel, which usually means more of the growth is still on the table.
What is being left behind
Part of the number is not growth at all. It is refunds nobody disputed, items left marked unavailable, promotions that lost money on margin, and fees that were never read line by line.
Counting on from the $20 million we added to hundreds of restaurants over 3 years, at the same run rate.
About the calculator
How does the calculator work out the number?
It takes the delivery volume we typically see for your restaurant type in your submarket, then applies the growth we usually get in year one, year two and year three, plus what we recover from refunds, errors and platform fees. The result is shown as a range because it is a projection, not a quote.
Why does the submarket change the answer so much?
Third-party order volume is not spread evenly. A dense urban submarket can run at well over double the orders of a small town with the same menu and the same prices, so the market you are in moves the number more than almost anything else.
What if my delivery sales are nothing like the number you assumed?
Then the projection will be off, and that is what the call is for. We look at your own platform reports and rebuild the numbers off your actual order history rather than a market average.
Do I have to commit to three years to see this?
No. We ask for a minimum of 90 days so you can see the full impact, and 30 days written notice to cancel. The three year view is there because the growth compounds, not because you are tied in for it.
A projection built on your own numbers
A short call, a look at your platform reports, and the projection rebuilt off your real order history.
